Job Title:           Extended Education Assistant

Reports To:       Director of Extended Education, Principal

Location:           Extended Education/Central Elementary School

Terms:               $12.00 Hourly, non-benefited position

Shifts:                Early bird program/morning shift hours: 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

                          Afterschool program/evening shift hours: 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

                          Hours may vary based on the needs of the program

                         

SUMMARY 

Provide supervision and assistance to students in the Extended Education program. Hours and assignments may vary.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

• Provide overall student supervision during recess and other assigned times to ensure student safety and compliance.

• Assists students, individually or in groups, to reinforce concepts by: 
• Helping children locate and use materials
• Encouraging safety habits in work and play
• Listening and modeling activities for students

• Other duties as assigned.
